Happy Easter!

I hope everyone is having a great Easter filled with delicious food, sunshine, candy and family! :)


Easter is the big holiday here. Well, not so much Easter Sunday, as the Thursday and Friday before Easter. Everything shuts down (stores, public transportation, no selling of alcohol of any kind, etc) and people go to church and spend time with their families making traditional foods and reflecting. 


OR they go on vacation.


I chose vacation. My fiance and I went to visit his father and sister at the beach. The boys went fishing while the girls hung out and gossiped. We only made it to the beach one day because it was super rainy, but it was nice to just get away and relax some.


However, I gained 3lbs. All there was to eat was rice and fried fish (they are a rather poor family, and we helped with food as much as we could being on a tight budget also).


So this week, I want veggies, fruits and not fish (even though we have about 20 in my freezer!!). Ok, fish will be fine, but it won't be fried. 


So now, I need to lose that 3lbs, plus the other 35 I'd like to lose, so the plan is going to start today!


My goal is to do something for aleast 30 minutes everyday until I'm home. And also really focus on eating healthy and clean. 


Once I get home I'm going to get a gym membership and use it like there's no tomorrow! I'm also thinking of joining Weight Watchers again. It really worked for me before I came here, and I know it'll work again. I just need something I can stick to and feel accountable. 


Today I really just want smoothies and salad ha, but we're going to visit some friends and family, so odds are that won't happen, but hopefully there won't be any rice or fish :)

  1. You can do it!!!!! Something everyday will make a huge impact and like I said when I saw you, you look really good. 3 pounds or no!
